Thai Foot Massage Sen Lines

Thai Foot Massage in Basingstoke How does Thai Foot Massage differ from Reflexology?

Thai Foot Massage involves a massage and stretching to the lower legs and feet to open up the Sen (energy) lines. A traditional wooden Thai stick is used to stimulate the reflex points on the feet, which correspond to the internal organs of the body. It stimulates the entire body due to the generalised work on reflex points.

It has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, Chinese Massage and Yoga and has become an integral part of traditional Thai Massage.

It is slightly more vigorous than Reflexology but achieves a higher state of relaxation and release.

A wooden stick is used during part of the treatment to work on some parts of the foot to stimulate the reflex points whereas in Reflexology the therapist carries out the entire treatment using their hands.

Thai Foot Massage is an invigorating and stimulating treatment. Like Reflexology, it stimulates the internal organs, giving the receiver a holistic treatment.

The massage routine last for 1 hour using Thai Foot Massage cream together with an authentic Thai herbal foot balm to promote lymphatic drainage and ease inflammation.
